Shikakai also known as ‘hair plan’ because of its medicinal properties conducive to hair health, has been working wonders since ages. It is a shrub found in the forests of the Indian subcontinent. For this purpose, mix almond and turmeric powder 1 teaspoon each, honey 1 teaspoon with 1 or 2 teaspoons of Shikakai powder. Apply this cream on alternative days to your face and rub lightly, it will make skin soft and shiny.
Improves digestive system
Shikakai pods have useful medicinal properties that can be used to eliminate indigestion, abdominal pain and other stomach ailments. It also improves digestive system. To use it, deseed its pods and soak the pod skin in water. After it is well dissolved, sift the water and drink it for a few days. This can be beneficial in getting rid of abdominal ailments.
